Story times feature picture books, songs, fingerplays, puppets, flannel boards, games and crafts. Three sessions per year are held:
- Fall (late-September - Thanksgiving)
- Winter ( late January or early February - April)
- Summer (June-July)
. Children are divided into three age groups:
- Family Lapsit (ages 0 to 34 months)
- Our Own Story Time (ages 3-5 or those who have not yet started Kindergarten)
- Special Themed Story Times (ages 2-6) -scheduled seasonally, when available
BABY/TODDLER LAPSIT
This 15-20 minute program is for children ages 35 months and under and their parents. Singing, finger plays, puppets and nursery rhyme repetition are used to help foster healthy brain development and to potentially enhance early language skills. Occasionally other activities such as scarves & parachute are used as well. Parents accompany their child(ren) and can interact with them in this fun and caring environment. Older and younger siblings are welcome.

OUR OWN STORY TIME
Children ages 3 - 6 (*or those who have not yet started Kindergarten) are invited. This 30-minute program features slightly longer stories and activities for children who are ready to attend story time on their own. Some children may require your assistance during the story time. Pease make sure that your child knows where he/she can find you.
