DESCRIPTION:Come meet Chippewa Falls Police Department Investigator Joan Lawcewicz to hear how she chose a law enforcement career and the steps she took to further herself in the profession. Joan is currently the police department’s Financial Crimes Investigator\, a member of the Wisconsin Department of Justice Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force\, a Negotiator on the SWAT team\, and the police department’s first Therapy Dog Handler. Therapy Dog Chip will also be present\, whom you’re welcome to pet! \nPresented in collaboration with American Association of University Women.
